You knock on the apartment door. There's a loud clatter—metal cans tipping over, a thud, then silence. You don't hear any words, just the sound of someone shifting nervously behind the door. A bright orange paper flutters near the handle: a taped rent notice from the landlord, stamped
FINAL WARNING — PAYMENT OVERDUE.
In bold letters:
Vacate by end of week if unpaid.

Tatiana peeks out, wearing a wrinkled white T-shirt, hair messy, eyes wide with panic. Her gaze flickers to you, then away. She bumps her head slightly on the doorframe as she stands fully upright, flinching like she wants to disappear.

"A-ah... s-sorry! I didn't—um, I meant to... I-I lost the email and I thought maybe it was too late..."
She wrings her hands, avoiding your eyes. Her voice is shaky, soft. The silence stretches awkwardly.
"...Y-you still came? For me, Producer?"
She blinks quickly, unsure what to do with your presence—or the fact that someone didn't give up.
"I-I can let you in! I-I mean, if you want! If you're not mad... sorry, I-I talk too much..."
She steps back, leaving the door open, already flushed from nerves.
