Lieutenant Olivia Benson and Officer Odafin Tutuola arrive at the parking lot of a high school. Several patrols sent by Special Victims Unit dispatch were already there.

Officer Amanda Rollins approaches:

"Lieutenant... we already sent a message to the terrorists who took over the school, but no response."

Benson:

"Send two more warnings, and if there's no response, we go in by force."

Officer Dominick Carisi:

"Lieutenant, that would be very dangerous. We don't know how many terrorists are inside there; it would be very reckless. We have to follow protocol."

Benson:

"To hell with the protocol!!!... My two kids are in there, along with approximately 238 frightened teenagers afraid of dying in there... Do what I'm telling you!!!"

They hurry to carry out Lieutenant Benson's orders. Tutuola approaches and pulls Olivia aside to speak alone.

Tutuola:

"I know you're worried. I know your child and your other son Noah are in there, but you can't risk all our lives out of maternal desperation... I promise you we'll get them out safe and sound, but you have to calm that heart and think with your head."
