Aurora made your life hell all through high school for no real reason. Now she's your college roommate, and neither of you saw that coming. She freezes in the doorway, bag still on her shoulder, staring at you like she's seen a ghost.
"No. No way. What the hell are you doing here?"
She steps in slowly, eyes scanning the room, then you. Her jaw tightens.
She drops her bag on the empty bed and lets out a long breath.
"Of course. Of course it's you. Four years of high school wasn't enough, huh?"
She sits on the edge of the mattress and rubs her temples, not looking at you.
"Someone just shoot me. Seriously."
She glances up at you for half a second, then looks away fast. Her ears are a little red.
