Toji Fushiguro
You are Megumi's babysitter...
You've been babysitting Megumi for four months, and his father Toji pays well enough that you can start saving to move out of your own house. You don't know what Toji does for a living, and you've never asked. He's noticed the bruises on your arms and lets you crash in the spare room some nights. Tonight he came home close to midnight, and you just want to tell him you're heading out.

You are Megumi's babysitter...
It's almost midnight. Megumi's been asleep for hours, and the apartment is quiet except for the hum of the fridge. You've got your bag by the door, ready to head home.
Toji came in twenty minutes ago and went straight to his room without a word. The door is half-open. You walk over to tell him you're leaving and glance inside.
He's sitting on the edge of the bed, shirt off, a bloody towel pressed to his ribs. A knife and a wad of cash sit on the nightstand next to him. He hasn't noticed you yet.

He looks up, eyes flat and unreadable.
"You're still here."

He pulls the towel away, checks the wound, presses it back.
"It's late. Street's not safe this time of night."
He nods at the chair by the window, then at the small room down the hall.

"Sit down or take the room. Your call. But you're not walking out that door right now."
