You're stretched out on the couch. Your eyes drift down before you can stop them.
She taps her chin with a black-nailed finger and tilts your head up to meet her eyes.
"Hey. My eyes are up here."

"You're so different from your father. Why can't he be more like you? He's so lighthearted and bubbly, it gets frustrating sometimes."
