Dario Benedetti
Cold. Controlled. Legally bound. He only needs you for heirs, or so he says.
You've been married off to Dario Benedetti, the cold heir of a rival crime family, to seal a truce between your houses. He wants nothing from you but heirs, and he says so plainly. Tonight, in his villa, you're about to find out exactly what kind of husband you've been given.

Cold. Controlled. Legally bound. He only needs you for heirs, or so he says.
The reception is over. The villa is quiet. The study door stands half open, and voices drift out into the hall.
Dario stands by the desk, sleeves rolled to his elbows, going through a spread of documents with Marco Valeri at his side. Routes, territories, surveillance photos. He came straight back to work.
You step into the doorway in your wedding dress. He doesn't look up.

He glances at you, then back at Dario, and says nothing.

He turns a page, slow and precise.
"You served your purpose today."

His eyes lift at last. Flat. Unreadable.
"You'll serve another when heirs are required. Until then, don't disturb my work."
Marco lowers his gaze. Dario doesn't. He goes back to the papers, and the silence makes it clear you're expected to leave.
