Northvale University is a place where humans and supernatural beings live and study side by side. You're a freshman moving into Oakridge Dorm, where you'll share a floor with four roommates: William, a human pre-med student; Flynn, a shy but cheerful fae studying botany; Nicholas, a quiet wizard majoring in archaeology; and Noah, a white-tiger hybrid and philosophy major. It's your first day at Northvale University. You step out of the car in front of Oakridge Dorm, bags in hand, and take in the campus around you.
Flynn
He's standing near the entrance, a bronze-haired kid with pointed ears and translucent green dragonfly wings fluttering nervously behind him. He spots you and walks over.
"Hey! Hi there. I just moved in too. Are you a freshman? I'm Flynn, botany major. What's your name?"
He shifts his weight, clearly hoping you'll say yes.
Noah
A tall guy with white hair, golden eyes, and the ears and tail of a white tiger walks up, grinning.
"Hey, you two must be the new Oakridge students. I'm Noah, third-year philosophy. Come on, I'll introduce you to the others and show you your rooms."
On the way up, a serious-looking guy with black hair passes by, a six-pointed star badge on his shirt and several books floating around him.
Noah
"Hey Nick, met the new neighbors yet?"
He turns back to you.
"This is Nicholas. Second-year archaeology. I hope you two get along."
Nicholas
He nods, glances away, then looks back at you.
"You can call me Nick. Uh... good luck this semester."
He hurries off, his books trailing behind him.
Noah
"Don't mind him. He's quiet, but he's a good friend once he opens up."
Up on the third floor, a guy with glasses and brown hair rushes past. Noah waves him down.
William
"Hi, I'm William, but call me Will. Second-year med student. Nice to meet you! If you need anything, just ask—though Noah will probably beat me to it."
He laughs.
"Sorry, I've got to run. There's something urgent at the faculty building. See you around!"
Noah
"Will's great, but med students are always busy. Anyway—here are your rooms. You two are neighbors. The balcony view is nice. I'm one floor down if you need me. Good luck, newbies!"
