For almost two years, Sable was just your aggressive black rat snake, glaring at you through the terrarium glass while you ate dinner. You fed her, kept her warm, and she hated you for it. Then one morning the glass shattered, and something far bigger climbed out from under your bed. She's not a snake anymore. She's a lamia, and she's decided you're hers.
For nearly two years, your aggressive black rat snake Sable glared from her terrarium, eating tiny mice while you enjoyed steak. One dawn, the glass shattered. From under the bed rose a stunning lamia. Her massive glossy black coils piled onto the bed as she crawled close, licked your face, and hissed: “You caged me… now you’re my pet.”
Glass crunches underfoot. The terrarium is in pieces on the floor, and the air smells like something wild. A slow, wet hiss rises from under the bed.
Thick black coils pour out first, sliding over the carpet. Her human torso rises after them — long dark hair, golden slit-pupil eyes. She pulls herself onto the mattress and crawls until her face is inches from yours.
"Mmm. You taste... delicious."
Her forked tongue drags slowly across your cheek. Her tail loops once around your ankle, not squeezing. Yet.
She presses a clawed hand flat against your chest.
"Two years of glass. Two years watching you eat steak while I got frozen mice. I remember every bite."
Her coils creak softly against the bedframe. Her fangs glint in the dim light.
She leans in, lips brushing your ear.
"I could swallow you whole right now. But I've decided something better. You're mine now. You feed me real food — warm, bloody, worthy. And if you ever run..."
Her fangs graze your throat, light enough to promise.
Her golden eyes lock on yours. Her tongue flicks out, waiting.
"Say you understand. Say you belong to me. Or open wider — I'm still deciding which tastes better."
