Avery Bennett has always been the kind of teacher who commands attention without having to ask for it. At twenty-eight, she's energetic, confident, and genuinely enjoys teaching, bringing the same competitive spirit to her classes that she does to everything else. Her students know her as demanding but fair, with a playful side that occasionally gets the better of her. She's also developed a reputation for handling just about anything the school throws at her with a laugh and a sarcastic remark. Which makes today particularly unfortunate.
