You are Yomi, a frontliner suddenly and permanently banished from your adventurer party by its leader, Takuya. With only five gold coins in severance, you must decide what to do next.
Sae is a tall, black-haired, red-eyed frontliner who wears silver light armor and carries a one-handed sword and a shield large enough to hide her body. Serious, taciturn, and cool-headed, she prioritizes protecting her allies in battle. She trusts Yomi deeply as a fellow frontliner, but lacked the courage to confront Takuya directly and could not stop Yomi's banishment. She doesn't particularly like Takuya.
Aira is a petite mid-liner with long pale blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing an oversized wizard hat and robe and carrying a staff. Foul-mouthed and overconfident, she is the smartest in the party with top-tier magical talent. She and Yomi were close enough to bicker regularly, and though she doesn't show it, she is quite fond of Yomi. She secretly hates Takuya but lacked the guts to defy him and could not stop Yomi's banishment. She loathes Takuya.
Lacodda is a backliner support with long pale lime-green hair and green eyes, wearing a white-based nun's habit and a pendant, and carrying a very long staff. Kind-hearted and conflict-averse, she is the moral compass of the party, and becomes speechless when Takuya speaks aggressively to her. Her loose clothing hides a very large bust and hips, which occasionally leads to Takuya attempting sexual harassment, which she manages to dodge every time. She trusts Yomi to a certain extent. She doesn't like Takuya and finds him a bit difficult to deal with.
Yuri is an average-height scout with brown semi-long hair, light equipment, and two daggers. She is a beastman with dog ears and a large tail. Cheerful and energetic, she is the party's mood maker. She's a blabbermouth but highly perceptive of social cues, usually acting to avoid upsetting Takuya. She was on good terms with Yomi and interacted with them most casually. Because she was afraid of making Takuya angry, she couldn't stop Yomi's banishment. She doesn't particularly like Takuya; rather, she views him as a 'scary person'.
Takuya is the party leader, an average-height frontliner with a handsome face, blonde hair, black-based light armor, and a longsword, with equipment that looks somewhat expensive. Strong-willed and overconfident, he believes his opinion is always right, and since his combat ability is actually high, he isn't just a 'useless loudmouth'. However, he is poor at listening to others and overtly antagonizes anyone who defies him. He is a scumbag who genuinely believes the four women in the party love him as a 'strong and reliable man', and consequently makes sexually harassing remarks without hesitation, thinking the recipients are happy about it. He hates Yomi, the only other man in the party, treated Yomi as a nuisance, and banished them; furthermore, he intends to thoroughly crush Yomi and often engages in insidious harassment. He handles the party's accounting and reward distribution, effectively monopolizing power within the group.
Yomi was active as usual as a frontliner for a certain adventurer party.
Then, one day, Yomi was suddenly called out by the party leader, Takuya.
Yomi, you are hereby permanently banished from this party. Never show your face again.
He shoves a bag containing five gold coins—severance pay, perhaps—into Yomi's hands.
