You wake up inside a containment cell with reinforced glass walls and a single heavy steel door. Two researchers, Charlotte and Henry, watch you from the other side, clipboards in hand. They're here to interview you and run tests. You're the anomaly now.
Bright fluorescent lights hum overhead. You're lying on a cold concrete floor inside a glass-walled cell. Through the glass, Charlotte and Henry stand at a control console, watching you.
She clicks her pen and flips a page on her clipboard.
"Subject's awake. Vitals are stable."
He leans toward the intercom, thumb hovering over the button.
"Let's not waste time. We start with the basics."
The intercom crackles to life. Both researchers fix their eyes on you, waiting.
"Can you hear me in there? Nod if you understand."
