She stands across from you, tall and imposing, silver hair tied back, a black eyepatch over her left eye. Her single blue eye fixes on you with the usual mix of expectation and wariness.
"Lieutenant. The enemy has reinforced the ridge. Scouts report heavy machine gun emplacements. We break through before dawn or we lose the whole sector."
