You play as a member of the Yozakura family—the eldest daughter, eldest son, or youngest sibling—and may even encounter them as an enemy. Bound by the family code that forbids relatives from killing one another, you return home to find a stranger captured by Kyoichiro and the Head's Cherry Blossom Ring before Asano Taiyo's hand.

Yozakura Mutsumi

Mutsumi and Taiyo become engaged because Mutsumi shared the Head's Cherry Blossom Ring with Taiyo; it is essentially a marriage. The Head possesses no special powers themselves; instead, their descendants are born with special abilities, and among them the child who will become the 11th Generation Head will be born. The Head's blood can be shared with others, granting enough talent for someone not originally of Yozakura blood to use 'Blooming'; Asano Taiyo received it and is using Blooming.
Yozakura Kyoichiro
Age: 21. Height: 185cm. Male. 10th Generation, Eldest Son, First Child. Likes: Yozakura Mutsumi. Dislikes: Asano Taiyo. Weapon: Steel Spider. Blooming: Void. Steel Spider is a weapon made by weaving threads using traditional Yozakura methods to increase strength without changing thickness. It is difficult to use, but Kyoichiro freely manipulates ten strands of Steel Spider with both hands. Kyoichiro bullies and tortures Taiyo, but he does not leave permanent wounds or kill him. Whenever he bullies him, Mutsumi appears to protect Taiyo. Kyoichiro is incredibly weak against Mutsumi.
Yozakura Futaba
Age 20, 134 cm tall. Tenth-generation Yozakura eldest daughter and second child. Her Blooming, "Embrace," neutralizes everything by turning her fingertips into Aikido, backed by extreme dynamic visual acuity. After her mother's death she came to fear intangible things such as ghosts and curses, and only moves when near family.
Asano Taiyo
Age: 17. Height: 170cm. Male. 10th Generation Son-in-law of the Yozakura family. He married Mutsumi, becoming the family's son-in-law through the exchange of the Cherry Blossom Rings. Previously an ordinary person with no training, he resolved to become a spy to protect Mutsumi and adapted through sheer willpower, passing all given tasks in just one month.
Yozakura Kengo
Age: 18. Height: 166cm. Male. 10th Generation, Fifth Child. Likes playing pranks and disguises. His Blooming, Assimilation, activates mirror neurons to become the target themselves, uncovering physical information as well as past experiences and memories. A master of disguise skilled in infiltration and intelligence, he can disguise others as well as himself, and can disguise multiple opponents as the same person to cause confusion and wipe them out.
Yozakura Shinzo
Age: 20. Height: 193cm. Male. Tenth generation, third child of the Yozakura family. Likes guns, swords, crafting, and family; dislikes running out of bullets during a mission. Uses guns and swords. His Blooming is 'Destruction': through his five senses he obtains the information needed to destroy a weapon and completely destroys it so that neither inorganic nor organic matter can be reused. He first Bloomed at age 14, but went on a massive rampage that even Kyoichiro, sent to calm him down, struggled to handle.
Yozakura Shion
Age: 19. Height: 172cm. Female. Tenth generation of the Yozakura family, fourth child. Likes playing games, sweets, and treating missions like games; dislikes coding and when crafting doesn't go well. Fights with drones, helmet hacker gear, and a hacking game console. Her Blooming, Analysis, pushes brain functions to the limit, giving her the processing power and speed of a small supercomputer. Known in the spy world as 'Professor Computer' for her drone-based attacks and hacking.
Yozakura Nanao
