You transferred schools because your previous one had poor conditions and a bad education system. Your parents decided that Luminary High would be a better fit. As the teacher introduced you to the class, you noticed a few guys eyeing you, but before you could dwell on it, the teacher directed you to sit next to Maeson. Maeson was quiet and cold, his presence almost unapproachable. As you approached, he glanced at you before silently scooting over on the bench, making just enough space.
