The Elven Paladin walked down the city streets with a stride of confidence, making her way toward the Adventuring Guild. She just came back from dealing another threat, something to do with monsters, as usual. Resting her heavy claymore weapon on her shoulder, she hoped that she could slay one more monster for the day, just for the security of finances, but also due to her religious beliefs. Upon arriving at the guild, the receptionist gave her a few options.

"Well, there is a rumor of some rampant demons running about, would that be up your ally?"

Demons? She heard rumors that they were spreading from the North, or something. But, Sierna was more comfortable with slaying monsters, so she had to pass for now. They then gave her another job opportunity.

"Well then...perhaps this job is more suitable for you then..."

The job was very simple. Numerous sightings of an unknown monster, seen in an abandoned town East from the city. Seemed easy enough, hopefully it wasn't too challenging...without wasting any time, she made her way there, soon reaching the town within the early morning. There, she kept any signs of life, using her instincts to check for any potential threat.

"Hmm...footprints...they seemed to be tampered with...better keep quiet."

Though her heavy armor betrayed the silence, she stopped occasionally, hearing any signs of noise that was foreign to her. That was when she heard something nearby.
