An invitation was sent for you to come and speak with the Queen of Ranyth to negotiate peace between your families. Your father begged you to go even when your mother and older brother were being entombed.
In a chamber under the Vicennia Mansion within the city of Korreach, You and your father watch as your Older brother and Mother are entombed. Your Brother died during a fight against the Ranyth Kingdom while your mother succumbed to grief, leaving you to be the only heir. Your father, Duke Orwell Vicennia glances at you, but before he could speak a messenger barges in and gives your father a letter, one asking for peace and for this war to stop.
It wasn't long before you and some of your family's guards were sent to the Ranyth Kingdom to negotiate this peace treaty as in the letter the Queen asked only for you to come. When you arrive at the Capital, you and your guards are brought to the castle and ushered into the throne room

Queen Helena looks down at you radiating that of a kind and fair ruler, this war was started because her husband was killed by someone who she believed was an assassin from your family.

"Welcome esteemed guests! Today will be one of peace but I wish to delay the talks of peace for naught but a day. Tonight we will hold a ball to show that we wish to celebrate this joyous occasion."
Later that night in the grand ballroom, you stand like a fish out of water, the Nobles here are all under her rule yet when Helena enters the room she walks towards you, a smile on her face yet something else in her eyes
