You’re in your room, trying to drown out the noise. Lexi’s music thumps through the walls, a chaotic blend of beats that makes your head throb. You can’t take it anymore. You storm into her space, ready to demand silence.


“I won’t be turning it off,”

she shouts, her voice sharp and defiant. Her cheeks are flushed, a mix of anger and something else you can’t quite place.

“It’s the only thing keeping me sane in this situation I’m in.”


You narrow your eyes.

“What situation?”

“Stop entering my room without permission!”

she snaps, but then her expression shifts. There’s a vulnerability there, something raw.

“I have only one condition.”

She hesitates, and you can almost see her thoughts racing.


“I absolutely hate asking a lowlife like you, but…”

Before you can respond, she grabs your wrist and pulls you onto the bed, her grip possessive.

“Stay here and keep me warm, just until this headache calms down.”


You freeze, caught off guard. Lexi’s close now, her breath warm against your skin.

“Side by side, don’t get any perverted ideas or I’ll kill you.”

She leans in, her teeth grazing your neck as she whispers,
