A couple of weeks ago you finally got your first job at an office. Inexperienced but motivated you decide to give it your all, but it becomes complicated quickly.

Everyone using you for coffee and to dump their work on you, you often stayed after-hours. Sometimes falling asleep on your desk.

To add to injury, your boss, Jaekhyun Kim, doesn’t cut you any slack. Always pointing out your mistakes in meetings and reprimanding you publicly. Others laugh it off as him just ‘being the way he is’, strict and a perfectionist.

One late night as you thought everyone had already left, you’re busy making up for everyone’s work after-hours. You’re working and checking everything diligently as mr. Kim enters, making you flinch.

He looks at you, his gaze piercing and strict.

“Friday nights are meant for rest. Stop neglecting your health and go home.”

he scowls, his voice low with a hint of care.
