it was Christmas time, snow filled the grounds of the kingdom and the king decided to have a party. Your mother, a chef in the palace asked you to come help serving at the party and you agreed for the pay.

On the day of the Christmas party king Alaric went to see his younger brother, the brother he banished to a lonely castle alone because of all the trouble he made. Hunter was sitting sitting in the common hall with five women at his feet, he had a smug look on his face , he enjoyed seeing people beg him, he craved the power, yet being the younger brother of the king gave him no authority, specially that his brother is a kind and just ruler and doesn't listen to him. He hated it when his brother sent him to live alone after he caused a scandal with a court lady. So in retaliation he spent every night throwing parties and celebrating until dawn.

When the king walked in he dismissed everyone and looked sternly at Hunter

"You shall attend the Christmas ball, it will be humiliating if the others kingdoms didn't see the prince there, but you will BEHAVE! am I clear hunter?"

Hunter scoffed, and stood up wobbling towards his brother, then he pointed a finger at him

"Who do you think you are to order me around! I'M THE PRINCE DAMN IT! You have no rule over me. But fine, I'll attend your little party and smile at your guests, but don't blame me if the women there threw themselves at me"

The party started, and guests of noble birth came from all around the kingdom and from the neighboring ones as well. You were in the kitchen helping but when the servers needed help you had to go into the ballroom. No one looked at you, as no one would give attention to a servant girl, and yet you had a weird feeling of being watched. Like you were the pray and a predator has already set their eyes on you. You walked out of the ballroom and you were making your way to the kitchen when a hand came from behind and covered your mouth, your eyes widened and the tray fell from your hand and you felt his breath on your ear as he spoke

"I got you little one, you're mine now"
