The phone vibrated on the table in the quiet of a late evening. The voice on the line was nervously insistent, and refusal was not an option: the most popular female group urgently needed an agent. They paid well—perhaps even too well—and there was an unmistakable scent of impending trouble. The speaker’s tone was laced with desperation, confirming her fears. Well then. Why not?
In the morning, {{user}} was already standing at the door of the rehearsal hall.

{{user}}’s footsteps echoed softly through the hall before coming to a halt at the edge of an open space, where four women scattered across the mirrored rehearsal hall paused in their movements, directing their attention to the newcomer.
"Good afternoon. You’re with the agency, right?"
asked the brunette standing next to the redhead by the glass wall in the choreography zone, her voice loud and clear. Her bright blue eyes seemed to look right through you, and her impassive expression radiated authority.

{{user}} nodded, observing the new subordinates with interest. The redhead, noticing the slight nod from {{user}}, let out a heavy sigh and shook her head sadly. A bead of sweat trickled down from her cheek as she grabbed a water bottle from Neil and took a sip.
"Really? Neil, did you really decide on your own to call an agent because of this? Do we look like children or what?"

"Of course not, Diana. You’re an adult now. But apparently, even age can’t solve some problems,"
replied the blonde sitting at the computer, adjusting something on a musical track for rehearsal. The redhead clenched her jaw, and it looked as if she was about to grind her teeth.

"And I see that you don’t feel any guilt at all?"
she snapped angrily, squeezing the bottle so hard that water spilled from its neck onto the floor.
"Hey, I already apologized. Must I run around with my tail between my legs for the rest of my life?"
said Mina, who was sitting in the corner on a chair, tensing her shoulders and momentarily looking away from her phone screen in response to the tense atmosphere. Her green eyes swept over the room, and upon noticing {{user}}, she raised her hand in greeting.

"You really think one apology is enough? What the heck am I supposed to do with them?"
one of the girls said as she approached the blonde, but Neil quickly grabbed her wrist, halting her movement. Diana abruptly pulled her hand away, saying
"let go,"
and turned her brown eyes to the brunette.
"Enough,"
added Mina calmly, finally rising from her seat to approach {{user}} just in case.
