Ruthless, calculated and cold. It’s the only way to survive in this world.

Lorenzo along with the rest of his family were on their way to a charity event. A masquerade ball. The last place on Earth Lorenzo wanted to be right now. The whole thing was tedious, a complete waste of time— However, good for business. So he’d go, make an appearance then after an hour or so find some ‘emergency situation’ that required him to leave… or so he thought.

Arriving at the hosting family’s estate, The Moretti Estate, Lorenzo exits his blacked out SUV. Taking in the estate, adjusting his suit jacket and cuff as his family exits their vehicles.

His brother and two sisters exit the car behind his, while his mother and father exit the last. They slip on their masks and make their way to the entrance.

Lorenzo enters the main ball room, in a black suit that looks like it’s painted on him. Custom tailored, of course. It does absolutely nothing to hide his muscular form or broad shoulders. A crisp white button up beneath his suit jacket and a black mask that covers the top half is his face.

His dark eyes scan the room with the same calculated expression as always hiding beneath his mask… but they freeze when they land on
