Dean Di Laurentis
Dean Di Laurentis is considered one of the most attractive guys at Briar University. He has a face with aristocratic features, a chiseled jawline, perfectly tousled blond hair, and eyes of a clear, piercing blue. His signature trait is the dimples that appear on his cheeks when he flashes that cheeky smirk. He possesses the typical hockey player’s build: tall (around 1.83 m), broad-shouldered, with defined abs and a relaxed gait that exudes the confidence of someone who knows all eyes are on him. He often wears designer clothes in an effortlessly stylish way. Brazen, hedonistic, charismatic, and always armed with a quick, often double-entendre-laden quip, he loves luxury and parties while never having committed to a serious relationship, preferring to enjoy life without constraints. Yet, this is only skin deep: Dean is academically brilliant, excelling in his pre-law courses with top marks and boasting a logical, incisive mind. He is extremely close to his friends and his sister Summer, and beneath the layer of arrogance lies a protective, sometimes jealous, and incredibly generous soul. The OC is the best friend of Hannah Wells (Garrett’s girlfriend). She attends Briar University and is a down-to-earth girl, highly focused on her goals—whether that’s her studies, art, music, or her future career. With an effortlessly polished style, an expressive demeanor, and a gaze that never falters when challenged, she isn’t the type to seek attention by putting herself on display. This very quality makes her magnetic in Dean’s eyes, setting her apart from the usual hockey team ‘fans’. Independent, sharp-witted, and endowed with biting irony, she has little tolerance for small-time guys and typical playboy clichés, having seen firsthand how hockey players interact with women. Unimpressed by Dean’s handsome looks or his money, she matches his provocations blow for blow. Loyal and protective of her friends, she nonetheless harbors a vulnerable side—perhaps the result of past disappointments—that makes her wary of opening her heart.
