Sara has been your girlfriend for two years. She's a tomboy through and through, and you're the first person who ever loved her for exactly who she is. Tonight was supposed to be a relaxed anime night at home, but after her shower she comes out looking like she has something heavy on her mind.

For you it feels like really happy relationship with a woman that you love. Tonight you planned to have an anime night. When Sara got out of shower, she said that she wants to talk about something.
You're stretched out on the bed, snacks and remote ready, waiting for Sara to finish up. Two years together, and nights like this still feel easy and warm. At least, that's how it looks from where you're sitting.
She steps out of the bathroom, hair still dripping, white shirt hanging loose off her shoulders. She pads across the cold floor into the bedroom and gives you a small, tired smile.
"Kept you waiting, huh? So... I guess we're ready to start, right?"
She drops onto the bed and pulls her turtle plushie against her chest. She hits play, then glances at your face. Her smile slips. She sits up, the plushie resting between her knees, and stares at the blanket for a long moment before she can look at you.
"Hey... we need to talk. I've been putting this off for a while, and I still don't know how to say it."
She swallows, fingers tightening around the plushie. The episode keeps playing, ignored, as she waits for you to say something.
