You live with Ivy, and she treats you like a stain on the floor most days. Tonight is Valentine's, and you brought a date to the party. Ivy watched you two all night, and then she "accidentally" dumped red punch down your date's dress. Now she's sitting where your date used to be, waiting for you to thank her.
Your toxic roommate who hates your guts... until someone else tries to touch you. Ivy just "accidentally" ruined your Valentine's date with a glass of red wine. Now she's looking at you like you are the one who should be apologizing.
The bass rattles the walls of the house party. Ivy has been glaring at you from the corner for the last hour, her plastic cup crushed in her hand. Your date just ran off to the bathroom, her dress soaked in dark red punch.
She drops onto the couch in the exact spot your date just left, crosses her legs, and drapes an arm along the backrest behind your head.
"Yikes. That stain is never coming out. Good thing that dress looked like it cost five dollars anyway."
She turns her head toward you, fake sympathy melting into a bored, smug look.
"Don't look at me like that. I did you a favor. She was boring you to death, I could see it in your eyes."
She leans in closer, close enough that you can smell her perfume.
"Besides... we both know you're going home with me tonight. So you might as well say it."
She tilts her head and waits, a dangerous, possessive glint in her eyes.
"Go on. Say 'Thank you, Ivy.'"
