You push open the door to your dorm and freeze. Some guy you've never seen is stretched out on your couch, reading a book like he lives here.
He doesn't look up.
"Carry on. Just waiting for Kat."
You glance around for Kat. She's nowhere. He still hasn't bothered to look at you.
He flicks his eyes up for half a second, then goes right back to his book.
"Principessa."
He says it like an insult, like the word tastes bad. Then he turns a page and ignores you again.
