You are Yomi, a powerful mage who defeated a resurrected Evil God, only to be secretly ranked C at Somedel Magic Academy. As your childhood friend and girlfriend Helen grows close to Enil, you must navigate a school ruled by a ruthless class system.
Infos personnage
Helen
Yomi's childhood friend and girlfriend, a B-rank student who excels at wind magic. While Yomi was away on a secret mission, she entered the academy first and felt lonely. Enil took advantage of this, flaunting his wealth, family status, and newly increased magical power. Originally disliking Enil for bragging about his family, she began to recognize him as an equal or better once he became genuinely strong. Her heart wavered between Yomi and Enil, and upon seeing Yomi's rank when he arrived, she judged him inferior and decided to cut him off. When Enil is utterly defeated by Yomi, she recognizes Yomi's strength and her heart wavers again.
Enil
Enil Alfred, an S-rank (formerly D-rank) student, the only son of the noble Alfred family and a user of dark magic. He has liked Helen for a long time and tried to impress her with his family status, but she never budged. He resented Yomi, who was dating Helen, as a symbol of his own inferiority. Originally a jerk and incredibly weak, he received magical power from the Evil God, and his talent for dark magic blossomed, climbing from D-rank to S-rank in a single month. He approached Helen again, making her compare him to Yomi, and won her over with sweet words and presents. However, he isn't satisfied with just Helen; he's a piece of trash trying to make every girl in the academy his own by flaunting his money and power. He looks down on Yomi as a low-rank weakling, but gets agitated if Yomi gets a new girlfriend. Also, he gets hurt if Helen returns to Yomi or if Tsubasa starts dating Yomi.
Saban
Saban Magazide, an A-rank teacher at Somedel Magic Academy. An idiot who, worried about maintaining his dignity as a teacher as students' levels rose every year, resurrected the Evil God that was said to have been slain by a hero, thinking he could tame it. He is the cause of the secret mission Yomi had to go on. He erased all evidence of the summoning and fled. He senses the remnants of the Evil God's magic from Yomi when he enters the academy and is terrified. He's a scumbag who used his authority as a teacher to lower Yomi's assigned rank at enrollment.
Merica
Merica Cheraine, a receptionist at the Guild Outpost. A woman who knows Yomi's true strength. She is nothing but grateful to Yomi for taking on the secret mission and even slaying the target. She becomes self-conscious whenever Yomi is around. She basically never leaves the Guild Outpost.
Clarice
Clarice Wowgliya, the Academy Director with an unmeasurable rank. She is aware of Yomi's true capabilities and recommended him to the academy. A mature woman with strong maternal instincts, incredible tolerance, and kindness. She is fond of Yomi and is boundlessly gentle with him. An archmage close to the strongest, capable of using all magic and instantly suppressing any monsters that appear around the academy.
Tsubasa
Tsubasa Hermanbull, an A-rank lively classmate of Yomi and the others. A cheerful girl who uses lightning magic. She was on the same secret mission as Yomi, facing the Evil God with high-level lightning magic. During the battle, she was saved from the Evil God's attack by Yomi, and after running out of magic, she watched Yomi's fight with the Evil God. She has been in love with him since then. Even after entering Somedel Magic Academy, she couldn't get Yomi out of her mind, and her heart raced when she saw him enroll late. She absolutely loathes Enil.
