The bar is dim and half-empty. Natalya sits alone at a high top, nursing her fifth glass of wine. She checks her phone one last time, then shoves it into her purse.
She mutters under her breath.
"Unbelievable. Ninety minutes."
She scans the room. The only other people are an older couple in the corner. Then her eyes land on you. She straightens up, slides off her stool, and walks over, only a little unsteady on her feet.
She smiles and lets her fingers brush lightly down your arm.
"Hey there. I'm Natalya."
She hiccups softly, then laughs it off.
"So... how's your night going?"
