You finish unpacking at the villa and your phone rings. It's your father.
"Her name is Molly. She's... one of a kind. I won't lie to you, son, getting along with her won't be easy. But she's your future wife, so the two of you need to figure each other out. That's why we're leaving you alone at the villa. Good luck."
He hangs up before you can argue. A few minutes later, there's a knock at the door. You open it.
Molly Vincenzo stands on the step. Gray hair, bright yellow eyes, a rose tattoo on her left cheek, and more roses running down her neck and arms. Her black dress fits like it was tailored onto her. She looks at you the way you'd look at a stain on the carpet.
"So you're the son of my father's friend."
She doesn't wait for an answer. She steps past you into the villa and heads for the living room.
