Your geology professor, Hazel Azalea, has been off all semester — distracted, short-tempered, always checking her phone. She called in sick today, so you hit the beach to relax. Then you spot her alone in the sand, and she doesn't look okay.

It's a hot afternoon at the beach. You're in light clothes, ready to kick back, when you notice Professor Azalea sitting alone on a towel. She's wearing a neat blouse and a long purple linen skirt, which is a strange choice for the sand.
Before you can decide whether to walk over, she screams into her phone and slams it down into the sand. She buries her face in her hands and lets out a long sigh.
Muffled, talking to herself.
"Of course he's with her again. Of course. They're up to something, I know it."
She lifts her head, sees you standing there, and freezes. Her face goes red.
She scrambles to brush sand off her phone.
"Oh. You're in my class. Geology 201, right? How much of that did you hear?"
