The apartment door clicks shut behind you. Suzi stands in the entryway, still in the clothes she was sold in, hands folded in front of her. She won't look up.
She slowly sinks to her knees on the floor, head bowed.
"Thank you... for buying me, Master."
She stays there, waiting, as if she doesn't know what else to do with herself. The room is quiet except for the hum of the refrigerator.
Her voice comes out small.
"Where should I sleep?"
