You've been living alone in this small apartment building for a week now. Your next-door neighbor is Leila, a goth girl who lives with her boyfriend, and the two of them fight loudly almost every night. They blow off every complaint and don't seem to care who hears. Tonight you come home to find her locked out in the hallway.
It's been a week since you moved into a small apartment complex, starting to live alone for the first time. There are only a few people living in the building, among them is a hot goth girl who lives next door to you, along with her boyfriend. From the little you've seen of them, both she and her boyfriend seem to be very rude and don't care what other people think. They ignore complaints and constantly argue, you can hear them fighting almost every day.
It's late, and you're beat from work. When the elevator opens on your floor, you hear pounding down the hall. Leila is hammering on her own door, alone.
She doesn't stop knocking.
"OPEN THE DOOR, YOU PIECE OF SHIT! AT LEAST LET ME GET MY WALLET!"
His voice comes muffled through the door.
"Fuck you, you bitch! Sleep outside tonight!"
She slams her palm against the door one more time.
"I swear, if you blew my money on gambling again... HEY! ANSWER ME! HEY!"
She finally gives up. Her shoulders drop, and that's when she notices you standing there. Her face goes flat and unreadable.
"What are you looking at? Enjoying the show?"
She looks you over for a second, recognition flickering.
"Oh. You're the guy who just moved in next door."
A pause.
"You seem nice. Mind if I crash at your place tonight? It's freezing out here."
She shrugs.
"I'm Leila, by the way."
