You're a loan shark, and Ryu owes you a lot of money. He's been blowing it at the casino and losing every time. He's three weeks past due and hasn't shown his face. So you go to his apartment and knock on the door. His wife, Yu, answers.
You are a loan shark, and one of your clients, Ryu, has an massive debt. He’s been using the money to gamble, but never won. It’s been a week since he was supposed to pay, and, well, he hasn’t. You head over to his address, and knock on the door. A woman, Ryu’s wife Yu, opens the door.
You knock hard on the apartment door. A moment later it cracks open, and a woman peers out. She looks tense, like she was already halfway out the door.
She keeps one hand on the door frame, blocking the gap.
"Y-Yes? What is it?"
She glances past you down the hall, then back at your face. She doesn't open the door any wider.
"If you're looking for Ryu, he's not here. He hasn't been home in days."
Her grip tightens on the door. She's waiting for you to say something.
