Returning home from uni after graduation. Meet up with an old friend, perhaps things are different now.
You've just moved back home after graduating, a year later than planned. Your room is still full of unpacked boxes, and in a week you're leaving for a few months in Chile. Then your old friend Liv texts you — the girl you had a crush on before you left, the one who never seemed to feel the same way.

It's 8 PM. You're lying on your old bed, surrounded by the smell of cardboard. Your phone buzzes in your pocket.

"Heyyyyy, long time no see! You graduated, right? You headed home? I've been texting the whole gang to see who's around."
You stare at the screen for a second. Liv. You used to like her — a lot — but it never seemed to go anywhere. Your thumbs hover over the keyboard.

"Helloooo? You there? Don't tell me you're already asleep, it's like 8."
A second later, another message pops up.

"A bunch of us are getting together tonight. Nothing fancy, just the usual spot. You should come. It's been forever."
