This page explains how to delete your account in Yomi: AI Story Chat, the Android app developed by Ignis AI Limited, and what happens to your data when you do. You can use any of the ways below.
1. In the app
Sign in to the account you want to delete, then:
- Open the Me tab and tap More settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Tap Confirm deletion.
2. On the web
Sign in to the same account at yomi-ai.com and open More settings (yomi-ai.com/settings). Tap Delete account, then Confirm deletion.
3. By email
If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account (for Sign in with Google, your Google account's address), with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we act on your request.
4. What happens when you delete your account
As soon as you confirm, you are signed out on every device and the stories you published are taken off Yomi, so other users can no longer find or open them.
Within 30 days we permanently delete your account information (email address, sign-in methods, name, avatar and handle), your chats and the memories kept for them, your “Who you are” descriptions, the stories and characters you created, published or not, the images you uploaded or generated, your reports, and the usage records linked to your account. Chats that other people had with your stories stay in their accounts, but your stories can no longer be opened from them.
We keep only: the one-way hash of your IP address, user agent and language described in our Privacy policy, kept indefinitely to detect and investigate abuse, such as accounts created over and over, and never linked back to your name or email address; and records of credits added to or taken from your balance, without any content, for fraud prevention and accounting.
Crash reports collected by Firebase Crashlytics are not linked to your account and are deleted automatically after 90 days.
If you use Yomi without an account, as a guest, there is no account to delete. Guest data stays on our servers after you uninstall the app or clear its data, even though you can no longer reach it. You can email us with questions about it, or to make a request under the law that applies to you.
